TOBY ESTLER DOESN’T run for HIS life, but you could say the Long Beach author runs for life.
The British expatriate enjoys jogging along our sandy shores so much that he’s put his thoughts down in a new book, “Running Home: 35 Moving Meditations for Runners.”
And in a way, Estler is a little bit of all those. The 41-year-old offers an inspiring personal story of how he overcame his addiction to nicotine and alcohol to start a new life on the West Coast.
“I was up to 66 cigarettes a day at one time. And I drank heavily for 13 years,” Estler recalled.
