Runner’sHouse.com is devoted to explaining concepts and offering advice on a wide range of running related topics. All the information contained in this site is a combination personal experience and a wide range of running disciplines. Back in 1999 I was exactly where you are right now, just starting out as a new runner. In addition to that I was recovering from a car accident, 30 lbs overweight and unable to run a mile to save my life.
Today, this is my running bio:
- L.A. Marathon ‘04, ‘05 and ‘06
- Lucerne Marathon, Switzerland
- Inca Trail Marathon ‘05
- Disneyland Half Marathon ‘06 and ‘07
- Camp Pendleton Mud Run ‘04 and ‘05
- San Francisco Bay To Breakers ‘02, ‘04 and ‘05
- Venice Christmas Run ‘03, ‘04 and ‘05
- Jet to Jetty Run ‘03, ‘04 and ‘05
- The Hills are Alive Run ‘04
- Chinatown Fire Cracker Run ‘04 and ‘05
- Village Runner 4th of July Run ‘03
- Keep L.A. Running ‘03
- San Diego Half Marathon ‘02
- Wine Country Half Marathon ‘02
- Etc, etc, etc…
Now hopefully you are a little bit better off than I was years back, but either way I am going to give each person who comes to my site the real life experience of being an average guy who wanted to become a runner.
First thing is to start with the tips I give each of my friends who want to start running but more importantly to keep running. (Runner’sHouse.com Disclaimer)
